Department: Project Delivery
About the role:
We are looking for a Project Manager with Microsoft Dynamics experience to join our very special team. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution and completion of our projects, with the support of our talented, multi-disciplinary team. You will be key in driving project success by managing project progress, identifying and managing risks, working to budget, reviewing resource allocation, communicating effectively with all relevant stakeholders, and striving for quality and excellence across all our projects. With brilliant project management skills and a passion for order and structure, you will be a great ambassador for AgileCadence, focused on staying true to our values and delivering outstanding service to our customers every single day.
You will be:
- The go-to person on our projects from kick off to closure. You will be responsible for overseeing the execution of project tasks; monitoring progress against the project plan and budget; and identifying issues or obstacles that may arise, including changes in scope, addressing these in collaboration with the team.
- Providing governance and oversight to ensure that projects align with organisational goals and priorities. You will be involved in the initial planning stages of a project, including reviewing project proposals; assessing project risks; and reviewing resources needed, tasks to be completed and milestones to be achieved.
- Establishing risk management frameworks/tools and implementing these on our projects, to ensure potential risks are identified. You will then support in identifying strategies to mitigate, minimise or manage any risks, keeping our projects on track.
- Communicating and reporting on project status, progress and KPI’s to relevant stakeholders. You will be key in ensuring that our teams understand and are aligned with project goals and scope.
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Collecting feedback, running lessons learned sessions, and implementing improvements, all with the aim of ensuring we provide a high-quality service. You will ensure quality assurance processes are adhered to and that inspections/reviews are undertaken as required.
- Building great relationships with our customers and making sure we provide a great service, while not losing sight of commercial considerations and remaining aligned with company values and priorities.
- Identifying business development opportunities within our existing customer base.
- Championing a culture that promotes inclusivity with a focus on the health and wellbeing of our team.
About you:
- You are ideally educated to BA Honors Degree level in a Business/Project Management related degree, or you have the equivalent relevant experience in managing multiple projects within the technology industry.
- You have knowledge or experience of using products within the Microsoft technology space. Particularly Microsoft Dynamics and associated technology.
- You have experience in project and account management with proven ability of successfully leading and managing projects, on time and on budget to the customer’s satisfaction.
- You can write up and review work scope documents, with the ability to plan a project and qualify this whilst ensuring you understand the current capabilities of the team.
- You are adept at presenting key business information and updates to the Leadership team and wider team.
- You have experience of defining and implementing project management frameworks, processes and best practice.
- You are resilient, practical and a real self-starter; you are comfortable working on your own and as part of a team.
- You have superb spoken and written communication skills. You can build a rapport with people, quickly developing their trust.
- You are highly organised with the ability to manage your time effectively and prioritise workload, handling multiple conflicting demands and supporting the team in managing the workload demands on them too.
- Customer focused – you work hard to understand our customers’ needs, always striving to deliver the best service and exceed expectations.
- You are flexible and understand that you may be asked to take on responsibilities or tasks that are not referred to in your job description, but that fall within the remit of your skills and abilities.
- You are willing to travel occasionally to client locations across the UK / Europe as required.
- You are an amazing brand ambassador for AgileCadence – you share and live our values every day.
